Guidelines & Fees

All entries must include a 500-750 word case summary, describing your entry, including the challenge, key insight, the idea, the plan and results.

Judges will assess the degree to which your ideas and strategic approach stood out, solved brand problems, affected change and influenced behaviours, so please give the jury context on the impact of your entry. Also include info supporting the extent to which your planning insights had any brand impact beyond immediate planning goals (such as being adopted globally, or triggering changes to ongoing marcom strategy).

Do you have what it takes to win? Tell the jury how your strategy was pivotal to the success of the campaign, support that with metrics (that can reasonably be tied to the program) as well as any other factors that show overall brand impact and outcome.

In addition, all entries must include a visual component to support the written entry. Case summary videos are encouraged but not mandatory.

For a full breakdown of what to include within your case summary, and required formatting, please review our Material Requirements page.

All entries must have been in market sometime between April 20th, 2023 and before April 19th, 2024.

No campaign entered into this year's Strategy Awards may have been entered in previous Strategy Awards, unless a significant new strategy or creative was implemented (and this will need to be clearly outlined in the case doc).

Please declare if - and how - AI was used in the process of developing/creating/executing your entry. If AI was employed, please add a brief overview of how it was used.

Please also flag if AI was used to help craft/produce your case study or write your submission, and if so, please confirm that no third-party copyrights have been breached.

Entries must meet Canadian advertising regulations & standards; entries assessed as offensive to viewers will be disqualified.
